'Medium Torts' feature a highly fashionable tortoiseshell pattern and a lightweight polycarbonate frame that makes them suitable for general use, including when driving. Our polarised over sunglasses range also features impact-resistant, UV400 lenses.

Size Information

These sunglasses will fit over spectacles up to approx. 135 x 48mm. If you require a smaller or wider size, please consider the following products instead:

1). Standard size Torts: will fit over glasses up to 130mm x 43mm, here

2). Vogue Torts: will fit over glasses up to 142 x 43mm, here

The Frame

Made from a lightweight yet rugged polycarbonate, the frame is finished in a highly attractive tortoiseshell colour scheme. High quality hinges ensure there is no 'slop' in the arms.

The Lenses

Torts feature high-quality, impact resistant polycarbonate polarised lenses. These Category 3 tint lenses are ideal for regular sunny conditions, and have a subtle brown tint that perfectly complements the frames. Polarised lenses reduce glare by filtering light that bounces off horizontal surfaces (e.g. car windscreens, road surfaces etc.); this makes the Torts ideal for driving, skiing etc. and any other application where glare can be an issue.

Microfibre Pouch

A matt-black microfibre pouch is supplied with Medium Torts. The pouch is closed by way of a draw-string; it doubles as a cleaning cloth.

Retainer Strap

If you wish to use these sunglasses for sports, please consider adding a retainer strap to your purchase. You can do this by changing the option on the drop-down menu at the top of this page from 'no strap' to 'retainer strap'.
