BIFOCAL READY POLARISED FISHING SUNGLASSES
If your distance vision is so good that you don't need spectacles, but you require some near or 'reading' correction for tying a fly etc., Rapid Eyewear's 'Bifocal Sports' sunglasses are the ideal solution. Available in a number of different strengths, Bifocal Sports consist of a clear (plano) top lens section, and a corrected oval segment at the bottom. The 'reading' segment is not tinted.
The Frames
Our 'Sports Bifocal' sunglasses are built around the ever-popular 'Nimbus' frame, which has been a staple of the Rapid Eyewear range for some years. Renowned for its strength, looks and practicality, the frame is made from an impact-resistant TR90 composite; it features sprung side arms, a wrap-around styling and an attractive hand-sprayed matt black finish. Rubber nose pads and side arm extensions make for a comfortable fit. The frame measures approximately 13cm across the front, with a 13cm side arm, making them ideal for most adult men and women.
Lenses
A category 3 tint is used for Bifocal Sports' lenses - this is the standard for use in full sun conditions. Formed from an impact-resistant polycarbonate, the 40mm high lenses has an oval segment (non-tinted) at the bottom with the correction you require. Anti-scratch and flash mirror coatings have been added to the front, the latter making the sunglasses reflective when outdoors (please note that a 'flash mirror' is not a full mirrored 'Top Gun' finish - these lenses only reflect natural light, when outdoors).
Polarised filters remove glare by filtering light that bounces off horizontal surfaces, including water.
Correction Options

To find the strength you need, please look for the 'near add' reading on your dispensed prescription.
