FUSION SOLO SPORTS SUNGLASSES
Rapid Eyewear's Fusion sunglasses are designed to get the job done whatever sporting or leisure activity you undertake - they also make excellent driving sunglasses, with the inclusion of polarised filters that remove glare.
The Frames
Made from an extremely tough TR90 composite, the frame is lightweight, wrap-around in style and highly comfortable, thanks to rubber nose pads and side-arm tips. The wrap-around design prevents unwanted light and wind encroaching from the peripheries of your vision.
The Lenses
Fusion's polycarbonate lenses are impact resistant; they feature an anti-scratch coating and uv400 protection. Small cut-outs at the top of each lens sit on your eyebrows, allowing them to 'breathe', thereby preventing sweat from moving onto the rear lens surfaces (which can cause misting).
The lenses are 'decentred' which means they are calibrated to remove the possible distorting effects of placing a curved lens in front of your eyes. A flash mirror coating reflects light when you are outdoors (note: flash mirror lenses do not work indoors in artificial light).
Polarised lenses are designed to filter horizontal light that bounces off flat surfaces to cause glare. Common sources of glare are car windscreens, road and cloud surfaces etc.
Conformity and Compliance
Fusion comply with all current British, European and US standards. As such, they offer 100% UVA / UVB protection.
